So based on previous models....you don't know? So the 3Gs was your first iPhone?
I guess the answer would be no then.
yes it is. Been using "everything but Apple" before 2010 !!

A source already announced that 24 Million iPhone will be delivered for 2010 that means that iPhones are readdy for sale. I would say they will start pre-ordering the next day of it's announce and I will be available on the stores 14th June!
What bothers me though is AT&T blocked out all vacations for the month of June...which means why would they release the phone the 18th or 25th, that's 18 to 25 days of blocked vacation for no reason.
I really have no clue when it will be released but in order for the blocks to make sense, it should be released on the 7th, or at least that week sometime.
Will ATT stores have the new iphone on release day or just the apple stores? I'll be switching to ATT and need to get a 2nd line free phone (non iphone) and I assume apple store doesn't sell those...
AT&T stores had the 3GS on launch day, just the same as Apple stores.
june 25th I guarantee it
I am pretty sure I shouldn't move my 3Gs to my wife's plan yet even though my eligibility date is only a month away as it would probably bump it out into 2011 if I do that? I am not confident this is going to go smooth... I probably need to stop by the att store prior to launch day to get a game plan - i'm sure getting this worked out ON launch day will be madness![]()
I agree. Since they moved a bunch of peoples upgrade dates to the 20th, and they usually go on sale on a Friday, the 25th seems right to me. But who knows.
Lots of people have reported being upgrade-eligible on June 21. Others who are eligible later have reported dates like July 21, September 21, and October 21. So it would seem that AT&T is spacing people out an integer number of months apart depending on last upgrade date and how much they spend on their monthly bill.
This would suggest, therefore, that it's announced tomorrow (obviously) and launched June 21. This gives developers time to play with the final betas/GM of iPhone OS 4, test their apps, submit for review, and a week of app reviews before posting iPhone OS 4 to the general public and allowing OS 4-approved apps out the gate. This will probably happen before the 21st (pulls load off the iTunes server for new phone activations). We may very well see iPhone OS 4 go live that Friday (June 18) to allow people to upgrade/download apps over the weekend and gives Apple a full business week to work out issues with the activation servers during normal business hours (as opposed to launching Friday and having to call in a weekend crew if issues persist).
many of you guys are saying the 18th (the friday after the week of conference)
many of you forgetting the 3G > 3Gs was not a big upgrade, so materials was not a big problem, however according to the leaks, this is a completely redesigned iPhone, so it MAY take awhile longer than a week of introduction
im still banking on the 18th though
