I have an ipad, but my phones have been android for the last 3+ years.
Android has become a free for all. No one is minding the store and the natives are going wild.

Both my android phones have major software flaws that have developed over time. Neither HTC nor Verizon nor Google has any interest in fixing them. Just buy a new phone is their attitude. Which is why I've ordered an iPhone 5.

Why don't people just jailbreak if they want an open system?
I did it and my iPhone is twice the phone it used to be. Plus if you don't go over the top with adding new features, it's hardly slower either. It's especially not a problem on later, faster devices.

Jailbreaks aren't as easy as they used to be (for the devs). It's taking longer and longer to develop each one. And since you can't downgrade ios anymore, it's just not something you can rely on always having.

Still iPhone for me. Sadly no phone is perfect and I really detest the iPhone's keyboard. But iCloud and iMessage actually are more reasons to stay iPhone.

It would definitely make it easier if Apple messed up the iphone (in fact I think Android has gotten to the point I wouldn't discount it over their app store).

But no because I'm happy with the iphone, I'm happy with how it's going, and I already have a ton of apps for the iPhone so changing would mean I'd have to start all over again (and since I have no reason to want to change as anything the iPhone doesn't have may be nice it's not appealing enough to me to lose all my apps and risk I won't like the new OS and I have no major problems with the iPhone that I'd like to see changed I am not going to).

Oh, and the biggest thing I can think of that Apple could do to make me dislike the iPhone is do something that chases the 3rd party developers away. So if both app stores were even (and not cause both sucked ;) ), I really doubt I'd change from the iphone. But, if I hadn't already gotten myself an iPhone it would make me very open to considering the other OS with the decent app store.

ANy comments on the windows phone? The interface looks really cool but I'm told the app store is horrible.
