I would only get one if it came with a bigger screen. I have a 5th Gen now and it's . . . . . nice. Glad I got the 32GB because I've almost maxed it out with just 16GBs of music, a few movies and a few apps.

The only issue I have with it is the screen size and those little iOS niggles.

I wonder, would you buy an ipod touch,if apple release the 160gb this september?..because,i will certanly buy it..no doubt..my ipod classic couldn't play song throught bluetooth and doesn't has built in speaker..
I would buy an iPod touch with 160GB in a heart beat. I have my entire music collection on my iPod Classic at 256K bit rate. I have used up 134GB. Streaming music doesn't work for me because I don't have Internet access all the time, and streaming on your iPhone uses up data.

I'm sure the price would be too much, so nope. Plus, it's sort of a condition of "I don't have a money problem, I just need more money". At some point, you need to learn how to manage storage by deleting stuff. Else, folks will end up filling up the 160GB as well.

I still prefer my Ipod Classic with a physical scroll wheel for music.

I have an Android phone that I never play music on because the player app is clunky and I don't want to drain the battery. I will never use any music streaming app.

I have a 1st gen iPod Touch I still use sometimes, eg on long flights. I wish it had more than 16GB. Even 32GB would be enough.

But really I don't see the point of the iPod Touch as a device any more. Now everyone has smartphones it makes zero sense to have a music player with video camera and apps etc.

What I would REALLY REALLY love to see and would buy is an iPod Nano with more than 16GB. Something that's ONLY a music player, smaller than my phone. No big battery-draining screen or WiFi or other crap.

Currently tempted by the Sony NWZ-A10
