I probably would have gone with a Dell if I couldn't run windows on a Mac, that means that we'd still be on PPC and those chips just can't compete with Intel right now.

I got my macbook without even the thought of running windows, but it has come in handy once or twice. I use Windows about once a month now.

I would definitely still buy Apple. Major yes-age here.

If I need windows, ever, I'd buy a 350$ desktop/laptop.(mid-range for microsoft products hehe) Windows crap is so cheap, I wouldn't want to tarnish my Mac with the stuff.

Of course I would have still bought an Apple. I am trying to distance myself as far as I can from any MS product after having to use them at work for so long.
