HD video on your phone? You can't be serious. I am a movie buff and have tons of blu-ray movies. I watch 98% of all my shows in HD. HD on a screen the size of the iPhone is null and void. So why would you need 10meg download speeds for it?

Let me guess, you plan on tethering to your laptop or what have you and watch movies there right?
Who cares how big the iPhone screen is. You can use a video cable to plug it into a TV. Or are you saying using this video cable I bought from Apple to stream Netflix is against AT&T's terms of service?

Not sure how well that would work. I would assume Netflix would be streaming the content based on the identifier (the phone) and would adjust the resolution to match. Pumping that out to a 32" minimum TV would look horrible. Again, I don't know how that works. However if you're at home already, why would you use your cellular data to stream Netflix? Why not your home internet instead?

Countless hours are spent talking up LTE, or whatever is floating around the blogosphere as the next great thing. Wild speculation mixed with some common sense all for naught. The only thing that's certain is that Apples in control & they will give you what maximizes Apples profits. They are in control, and their customers only represent an income stream to Apple. You're being told what they believe you want to hear, or it's "leaked". It's Apples game.

Sounds like someone stays home, enjoying the couch potato lifestyle.

It's likely to be a short term rate. Verizon & AT&T are just as greedy as Apple.

So you have to be a couch potato to watch Netflix? And part of the advantage of the phone is that you can hook it up to any tv anywhere to stream video. It is not dependent on having an Internet connection at the location. I don't have any other devices that can stream Netflix. I fail to see why I am getting a negative reaction for using a feature on the phone.
