For those that successfully canceled their order, how did you do it? I called twice after long waits and no one could find the order. I still cannot find my order on ATTwireless.com "My Orders" but the link from email for order status to the Premier website shows my order. Just the cancel button doesn't work.

Well, it took me 20 minutes on hold, 25 minutes on the phone, but I got the order cancelled with AT&T, the upgrade was put back in my account almost immediately, and I placed the order for the 6 64GB in Space Gray on Apple and it shows delivery on 9/19.

As way of quick background: I placed my order last night around 2:30 AM CDT with AT&T. Had a confirmation email this morning (that was sent around 4:00 AM) confirming the order and saying that delivery was expected on/around 9/19. When I checked my order status using the link they gave me when I first placed the order, it showed an expected SHIP date of 9/23 to 10/2 and the "Cancel Preorder" button. I could see the order under "My Orders" by logging into my wireless account, but there was no option that I could find to cancel from inside my accounts.

So anyway, at first, as I mentioned in a previous post above, a manager told the rep (her name was Audrey and she was extremely helpful and patient) that they could not cancel the order prior to 24 hours from the time it was placed. I told her that did not make sense because I knew others had been able to get it cancelled over the phone.

So, she went to talk to a different manager that gave her a "back door" way to try to cancel it. She went through that process and I gave her the order number. She went to cancel it and got an error message that it couldn't be cancelled, because the order had already been cancelled (I didn't think that was accurate since I had been trying ever 5 or 6 minutes to place the order through Apple and it kept telling me I wasn't eligible for an upgrade).

So she talked to the manager again and when she came back she said that it was showing the the order had been cancelled and the upgrade had been reversed and put back in my account.

While I had her on the phone, I went through the process at Apple.com and this time it said I could upgrade and gave me the various Next options, etc. I thanked her for her help, hung up, and completed the order on Apple, which shows a delivery date of 9/19.
 
I have an order from apple.com and att premiere both for the same phone # upgrade... would like to cancel the att but it doesn't give me the option. I wonder if they will deliver both phones even though they are linked to the same #?

My fear is they are both canceled??
 
Yes. I had an early reservation (around 12:30AM) since the App could not contact my carrier.

I'm in the same boat. I managed to snag a 16 GB iPhone 6+ version for in store pickup because that's all that was left. But earlier I was actually issued a reservation for a 6+ with 64 GB that can be delivered on the 19th. I just didn't want to give up my "sure thing" 16 GB (which I can make work) to only miss out on the 64 GB too because of a wonky cancellation/eligibility problem.
 
Long story short, I had a verizon order and a Apple reservation. My Verizon order was acting all crazy and I didn't have confidence in the 9/19 delivery confirmation because the order status was not reflecting that.

I got my 2nd email about my reservation around 12:30. I was able to cancel my Verizon pre-order to get my upgrade correctly back on my account (was instantaneous) and then finish the reservation.

what number and option if any did you call? I'm fed up with this ******** being overcharged in taxes, I want to cancel now.
 
Accidentally ordered the wrong phone due to 4:00am delirium

While unable to access Apple's site at all this morning, I decided to try my luck with AT&T and accidentally ordered my husband a 6 instead of a 6 Plus because the page kept getting hung up while processing, and each time I went back the page defaulted back to the 6. I tried to cancel but couldn't, it went to processed for shipping almost immediately (go figure). I was, however, able to order the correct one through Apple just now with a reservation I received from the Apple Store App under my phone number. I also ordered one for myself under a reservation under my phone number (I hope that's not going to be a problem).

For those of you who have ordered from AT&T before, is it best to refuse delivery of the phone we don't want or accept it and bring it into a store and explain the whole scenario?

Told the computer that I wanted to cancel my order and it asked for the phone number and then transferred me to an agent. Had to wait on hold for about 20 minutes, but that was also Friday morning, so it might not be as long now.
