Damn... how did it get so bad? That phone is at most barely a year old. My 7 plus is basically mint condition. Had it since launch last year and not a single scratch on the screen or body or malfunctions I’m aware of. Granted, it spent most of the year in a case and with an edge to edge screen protector but still.

It started when I went to a music festival a few months ago. Didn’t put on a case (probably not my best idea) and proceeded to drop it that Night and it cracked pretty bad. Dropped it again a few weeks ago and that’s when it got to this point where it’s barely useable. I should probably follow your advice and use a case this time lol
 
I'll still order it and I'll get it when I get it. Sure, I'll be jealous of those I see with an X when I'm out. But life goes on. My 7 and SE will suffice until then.
 
Like every year I’ll walk up to T-Mobile at 8am and walk out with one by 830. I was told this year that business accounts get first service so I may even show up at 8 on the dot instead of 730-745
 
What are you planning on doing with your 8+ when you get the X? I am noticing that there are a few people who got the 8+ and are planning on getting X
 
I think last year the 7plus JB was essentially out of stock immediately...I've succumbed to the fact that certain models may have the same situation this year and be a couple weeks late. Just want to be in the first batch

Its not that it was out of stock immediately, there was no stock of 7 plus jet black at launch at all to begin with. No one was able to get a jetblack plus on launch day whether they pre ordered or went to a store.

Give it to my wife. She doesn't really care about what iPhone she has either way. Shes running an iPhone 7 Plus now.

Sorry, yes that's what I meant. I wouldn't be surprised if that happens again this year with one of the configs.

I think its less likely for that to happen this time as there are only 4 options. Either way Im hoping the 256 Space grey isn't the most popular!

It's an experience. If you don't like it, fine, but don't belittle other people because they want to do it.

Also, since you have an 8 already, why are you posting on this thread? It's clearly not targeted at people who just bought a new phone a month ago.
 
I’m going to preorder through both the T-Mobile App and Apple App and keep whichever one will ship first. If I don’t get one on launch day, I’ll continue to use my paid off 7+ until then.

Makes sense now. I use a Mophie battery case now which is great but before I used a slim TPU/plastic case that barely added any weight or heft and looked amazing (the Peel case).

It’s amazing seeing the excuses people come up with here rather than just admitting they can’t afford it. Nothing wrong with that, it’s a very expensive phone...

Thought of ordering last night but then I thought my 6S+ runs great put a new battery last month clean install what would the X do for me that the 6 can’t? Don’t do gaming much and canera-video are still good for my taste. So I just went to bed at 10 and woke up feeling good this morning knowing I saved 999+tax till next year.
Sorry Timmy not this year maybe next year will hook up for a midnight rendezvous.
