If you had to choose between a new 5 & 5c,which would you choose for $99?

"Cheaper" build quality is not a fact. I could say 5 c is more durable because it's plastic, but that's an opinion.

The options are 5 or 5c. The question is why would anyone want an iphone 5 on a two year contract? Granted the. 5 and 5c have basically the same tech, but the 5c is a "new" model. It's not discontinued. Also IMHO the 5c design is better and more durable.

To ask why would anyone ... That's just you! You can't speak for everybody because obviously millions have already bought the 5c and I know some that "side graded" from an iPhone 5
 
Uh,thanks everyone for the input.I just wish the 5c was offered in adult colors.

I'd go with a 5c, and the reason is simple!

The 5c is a brand new phone and is slightly improved over the 5! Anyone who says it's old and is rocking old technology is a hater and is just mad that they have a 5 and probably can't afford to get a 5s or 5c off contract because they haven't got an upgrade to snatch one up.

Yea the 5c is in a colorful shell and doesn't have the metal build, but it's completely one piece, it's solid as a rock, and it looks really cool in that Green and Blue color options. The front camera is improved and it comes pre loaded with ios7.

I'd say grab the 5c and enjoy it...
 
5c, battery improvements alone are reason enough. Also, the white 5c looks fairly professional, esp. when you see them out in public. Counterintuitive perhaps, but the white 5c does not look like a juvenile product outside the Apple Store. White case, black border, black logo, it works.
 
5c. The plastic is more durable (scuffgate) and feels alot more comfortable in the hand. The added weight also helps the comfort, the 5 feels a little too light for me. Plus of course the little improvements.
 
choose 5

5c is cheaper than 5. but 5c is more slippery than 5. I rather choose 5 'cos it made with aluminium like the 5S.

1. the 5 has a sapphire lens cover as well.
2. iOS 7 wont run smoother on the 5c than on the 5, when they both have exactly the same chipset/cpu/gpu. :rolleyes::rolleyes:

tell me again how the 5 is "old technology" and the 5c isn't? inb4, OMG the 5c battery has 70 more mah!!!

This is actually the only 5c color I like. The white one looks the most professional .

However some people like all the colors

Get the 5c if you like to express yourself with colors, more of a teenage/ college phone.

Get the 5 if you are a professional, with a professional job,I couldnt see myself as a doctor going into work witha lime green 5c :rolleyes:

Or if you like metal /thinner/lighter and a higher quality go for the 5
 
How many doctors do you actually know? Most of the ones I know in their late 30s - totally prefer the 5c. They tend to be women, and very very into bright colors.

That's totally right. 5c is more of a teenagers/students phone than for an adult. Watch the commercial it clearly states that.
 
I would take the 5C in white, because of the durable construction, comfortable feel, and more LTE bands.
