HUGE remorse after sinking an additional ~$1500 maxing out my 2009 17" MBP. It's so tethered it's barely portable.

I should have got an older MacPro and a used (cheap) 13" MBP or MB for the times I need to be portable. It'll be slower on the road but my MP would be much better for at home when I'm doing most my work.
