If you had no gear, and had to buy some combination of...

    - Desktop
    - Laptop
    - iPhone
    - Non-iPhone
    - iPad

What would you do, considering a good balance of price, performance, convenience, "coolness", etc. Obviously you don't have to get one of everything.

macbook!!! Love it, awesome battery life, portable enough, well priced, and no glare induced headaches unlike the pro models.

HUGE remorse after sinking an additional ~$1500 maxing out my 2009 17" MBP. It's so tethered it's barely portable.

I should have got an older MacPro and a used (cheap) 13" MBP or MB for the times I need to be portable. It'll be slower on the road but my MP would be much better for at home when I'm doing most my work.

I'd go back to the 80's and marry the man I love.

Wait, you didn't mean that, right!

    I'm happy with my 27" i7 iMac, iPad and Droid X. I don't think I'd change a thing.
