if you knew that you were going to die today, what would you do today

Assuming I am free and not one of the thousands around the world locked up in a cell awaiting execution
I'd clear out my drawers and boxes of "stuff".
Make love.

walk the dog through Carlton Gardens nearby (it's massive).
have a picnic alone, read a book, listen to music, take a nap
grab my bike and cycle to the pool, then go for a swim.

sex
then get some pizza.
say goodbye to loved ones.
This shouldn't take me more than 12 hours, especially the sex. I'm not Sting, you know.

I'd spend the remaining time with my wife and our dogs. That probably sounds extraordinarily boring to most of you, but there is nothing better for me out there. (And believe me, I've done it all.)

In reality I would practice the nine processes outlined by Prahlada Maharaja: Sravanam, kirtanam, visnu-smaranam, pada sevanam, arcanam, vandanam, dasyam, sakhyam, atma-nirvedanam.
I'd find people who are doing something similar to dying today. And discuss.
Or find people who are doing something similar to knowing that they'll die today.
What would I really do if I knew? I'd worry momentarily about not having an up-to-date will, cease to worry, 'phone a few friends and family members, arrange safekeeping of my cats and then aim for a peaceful ending. Probably curled up with the cats.
