Maybe iOS7 will have an option to remove the annoying 'Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2' message no user of Tapatalk seems to be able to remove.

I don't remove it because there are some things you cannot easily do while browsing and posting on forums using tapatalk. So, when somebody asks "Did you think of doing a search first?" or any other typical whining forum response that takes just as much effort as answering a question, perhaps they would understand when they see that a person is posting from their phone.

the only reason i really jailbreak is for bitesms,if apple would make their messaging system like this i would hardly care about jailbreaking

The only thing that I miss is BiteSMS. Everything else like iBlacklist, sb settings and such have been rolled into iOS 7.

I find the main issues to be the smoothness of the ios but as this is only beta versions hopefully when the official is released these problems will be fixed.

The release of ios 7 IMO however will be a large step forward for users who don't have jailbroken devices. For a user who has previously jailbroken there devices ios 7 feels like a glorified new theme, with many of the new features put into ios 7 being popular cydia tweaks.

Another point is the lack of customisability natural to apple devices, jailbreaking in due time will fix this also though.

IMO apple has publicised the release of ios 7 on much too large a scale and due to this they have failed to deliver. (changing the colour palette and app thumbnails doesn't take much ingenuity)

I spent a lot of time reading this forum and Apple's developer forums, and waited until beta 2 was out for a few days before updating. I felt like I knew what I was getting into, and what I would be giving up by losing the jailbreak. For the most part, my expectations were met - both good and bad.

Things I still miss from the jailbreak:
  • AskToCall - puts up a confirmation dialog to ask if you really want to call the phone number you just tapped on. I find it extremely annoying when I accidentally brush the wrong part of the screen and suddenly I'm in an unwanted call, scrambling to hit End. Thankfully it hasn't happened yet in iOS7, but I'm sure it will eventually...

  • ssh access - extremely handy when debugging my own apps to get in on the command line and directly examine/edit files.

  • CleverPin - I miss this the most, even though it wasn't 100% reliable on iOS6. It would automatically disable the passcode when (a) connected to my home wifi, or (b) playing music (when I obviously have the phone with me). I'd love for Apple to include this kind of "smart" passcode locking, but I'm sure it's too late for them to add to iOS7. Heck, I'd settle for a passcode on/off toggle in Control Center.

iOS7 has been more stable than I expected for only the second beta, and since installing it I've been able to get a jump on updating my apps for it. Since I went in knowing I'd be giving up the above features, I don't regret it; but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to have them back. ;)

Honestly, as soon as I installed beta 1, I immediately regretted it. It was just so different, weird, and most animations felt like the phone was twice as slow. But after a day or say, I livened up to it. Beta 2 runs smoother as a whole, that's for sure.

Although iOS 7 implemented some of the "most used" jailbreak tweaks, having your phone jailbroken on a STABLE iOS is better IMO. But now that I'm in the beta bandwagon, I might as well stay on instead of downgrading to unjailbroken iOS 6.

Truth. This is the thing I miss most.

Other than that I miss SwipeSelection and ShowCase.

Ah yes SwipeSelection. How could I forget about that? Haha! Anyways, for now, I think inverting colours somehow gives me a similar effect to f.lux. Kinda like night mode to me. Hehe!

AdBlock: The web is slightly less nice without this, but overall not a big deal. I don't mind not having it too much.

BrowserChooser: Irrelevant now since Safari in iOS 7 is so damn good to begin with. When Mavericks hits next month desktop Safari will finally be great too. Perfect!

f.lux: This one hurts. Bad. I feel like an idiot wearing these stupid orange glasses at night. I can't believe that Apple still has not implemented a solution for this. I now cannot physically use my iPhone or iPad at night without silly-looking orange protective glasses. What the hell, Apple? This is the kind of thing that makes me consider Android. Seriously. I need f.lux to be able to use my iOS devices before bed. There is NO VALID REASON for this to not be baked into the OS. The iPad is the ultimate bedtime reading accessory... as long as you have f.lux.

Apple is just too damn slow these days. Not enough software engineers. Many stock apps haven't even been updated for iOS 7 (Find my iPhone, Find my Friends). Just embarrassing. That's even with putting OS X on the backburner and focussing nearly all resources on iOS. It wasn't enough, and we're still gonna have an old-looking OS X UI for the next year. Smooth, Apple.

So yeah, I regret it. I do love iOS 7... but f.lux is such a critical utility for me. By updating my phone I've forced myself to require these silly protective glasses just to used devices at night. Bad decision.

I will still jailbreak for infinidock and the couple different tweaks that allow you to set default apps.

With infinidock I set up paginated with my ten most used apps. That way no matter which home screen I'm on just a flick to get to the app I need. Almost forgot biteSMS for quick reply. I didn't think I'd miss that as much as I do.

Yeah...the more I think about it the more I can't wait for the 7.xx jailbreak ;)

I used to use jailbreak to get Siri on an iPhone 4 and earlier a background for homescreen on iPod touch 2nd gen. Now that I have an iPhone 5s, I don't need any jailbreak cause I get all the fancy features of the new OS :)

The only thing I miss is zephyr. I keep pulling up control center.

Haha I miss Zephyr too! And I did this at first, kept trying to swipe up to close apps.

I miss pandora skip, and Adblock and fake clock up would be nice to have on iOS7. Definitely looking forward to the jb.

Oh and I miss swipe selection.

I don't regret it. There are a few tweaks I miss like Zephyr, PasswordPilot, and f.lux but overall I'm happy that I upgraded.

Having said that, I am eagerly awaiting the release of an iOS 7 jailbreak.

-BatteryDoctorPro with its auto 3G, auto kill apps, auto "sleep mode" (much more powerful than the DND option in iOS) and so on;
-f.lux;
-SwypeSelect or whatever it was called, where swiping on the keyboard moved the cursor.

I feel the net gain is worth it though, but I'd pay to have these three back.

I had a jailbroken iPhone 4 and now I have the 5s... I'm pretty pleased with iOS 7 overall, but I'm definitely jailbreaking when the opportunity comes. I'd love some notification center tweaks, a lot of my old tweaks, biteSMS.... but I'll live, for now.

f.lux sounds cool, never used it. (I was jb on every ios version until now.)

But ... do you know about the triple-tap-home button trick to get inverted colors? It's not great but it's better than nothing when doing stuff at night or in a dark room. Only really applies to text, of course, since inverted images aren't useful.

I'm excited to see what kind of tweaks will be available to the new software. Customizing control center, changing animations, etc...
