Sell one on eBay and it will pay for the other one. I just sold a Sport model for the price of the Stainless Steel!
Great way to afford a few extra bands or something.

What's your opinion on selling a watch on eBay? Is it something that you'd consider?

Has your money actually come through yet? Sometimes people will try to stop scalpers by bidding the auctions of new apple products up and then not paying forcing the scalper to resell at a loss after the initial demand is down.

Sitting safely in my bank account

let us all go do that, screw those ppl

Preordered a 38mm black and white sport because I was unsure what they would look like in person. Settled on white after my try on. Will cancel the black, sell it on eBay, or return it in the store and let some lucky person get theirs early.

I've noticed there are two types of people: those who like money and those who don't. Congratulations thread starter. You're one of the lucky ones who get it. The fact that there are fewer watches now for others is irrelevant. It's not the end of the world for those who procrastinated and couldn't get a watch sooner. That's not your problem... you like money.

I've ordered two for myself, but honestly, if I see these things going for double their cost at release, I may have to sell them to effectively get mine for free (I wouldn't want to sell my preorders now. There's too much of a risk of someone asking for a refund if they find one cheaper in the meantime). I don't mind the wait if they're ultimately free.

And frankly, I'm not stopping anyone else from getting a watch. If I didn't sell them, I would keep them. I didn't order them for the sole purpose of flipping them. Either way, whether I keep them or sell them, there will be two less watches available.

i ordered two because i was unsure of which size. once i had my try on appt i cancelled the order for the other watch. i have no interest in keeping others from getting their watch because by being greedy.

Scummy thing to do and forcing loyal Apple customers to wait longer for their preorders.

I never understand why people get so aggressive over that let alone call someone scummy. Apple limits orders to two per customer so no one is really able "scalp" anyway. If he wants to get up early and put in the time to buy another watch to keep or sell then that's his right. Loyal customers can login and preorder just like he did...

He's not forcing anyone to spend more money on it either. If someone really wants one and missed the boat, he's probably making them very happy.

What did you list as the delivery date since you don't know for sure when it will be delivered?
