I just called AT&T and they say they have to ship it to your address. No option to pay online and pick it up at the store.

That is correct no option on-line to have it shipped to the store, but the guy at AT&T said if I go to the store and order it there it would be shipped to the store. I will find out this afternoon when I swing by the store. I only want it shipped to the store because I may not be at the house when FedEx arrives and it is a long way to the local FedEx depot.

Yeah, I want to pick it up at the store too. But, no cashback if I don't order online. :(

Fill out the release form, sign it, tape it to the door. It will become available when your order ships.

I would like to address, that AT&T doesn't guarantee you an iPhone in the 19th(Atleast my AT&T) If you iPhone isnt shipped by then 18th you wont get it. There is only so many direct fulfillment's they can can address by the 19th

I bought my iPhone 3G S yesterday at the AT&T store but the manager told me I would not be getting the phone on the 19th. According to him all the phones shipping on the 19th have been pre-ordered. However I am able to track the phone so I will know exactly when the phone will arrive at the store. It's frustrating... but.. the guys at the AT&T store also helped me avoid the $499 I was prepared to pay for the 32G iPhone. I have a first gen iPhone but I'm on a family plan and my brother used my upgrade when he broke his phone.. the second time. But the AT&T employees not only got me a 15% student discount for the entire family plan but they went around my lack of an upgrade by adding a new line to the family plan. The $9.99 price to maintain the line will be washed out by the new 15% discount and I "save" $200 on the new iPhone plus a few extra on my bill (my mother's bill). So I think that was worth not waiting in line to grab it on the 19th. (At least that's what I'm going to be repeating to myself as the shakes begin to set in)
