What would be the benefit? Is it just to change the case material? I would not replace the watch just for that. But if it's a cellular upgrade that you're going for too, then maybe that makes a little more sense.
Without knowing the background, I'd wait for sure.
ThisPersonally, I would hold on to the S7 until just before the September event, and then sell it. After you see what is presented you can either buy an S8 or pick up a stainless S7 for less.
I guess it just comes down to how concerned you are about wasting money and bad you want it now. 🙂
wait you are halfway thru the cycle already... just my opinion nothing moreWould you do it now, or would you wait until the 8 comes out? I have no issue with my aluminum series 7, but I know I want to switch to SS. I’m trying to be patient because I feel like if I make the switch now, there will be something on the 8 I’ll want.
This is sooooo me 😆Waiting is really the smartest thing.
This is sooooo me 😆
Thinking about the pros and cons, blablablah.... couple of days, weeks at most, I can't stand waiting any longer and shell out the money anyway.
I know what you mean. 😬😂I do this a lot myself, but I am trying to hold off.
If they change the design to the more flat edges, I definitely wouldn’t want it - not a fan of it on the phones, and definitely wouldn’t want to wear it - but at that point I‘m sure I could still buy a 7 in SS.
I’m liking this thinking. I highly doubt there will be a redesign but my Question is the features. Maybe better battery life or maybe apple will stick with the 18 hr battery given then stuck with the 10 hr iPad battery. Apple gets stuck in its line of thinking and doesn’t necessarily want to adjust.I'll be the dissenter here: I would buy now. The S7 is already a highly refined version of the original Apple Watch, so I suspect it will still serve you well after an S8 is introduced (which we're assuming will happen this year as it has in the past, but there's certainly no guarantee that will be the case). In addition, why let Apple's release dates control your purchasing decisions, especially when buying now means you can enjoy it that much longer?
Stacey,
Did you purchase an SS model in the past and returned it? I could have sworn I read that you did.
If you plan on upgrading your watch every year or two, (because of new features you want) it doesn't make sense to spend the extra money on the SS model, as there is no real benefit in doing so over the aluminum model.
Wait, didn’t you purchase one and returned it because you felt that ss is too heavy for you?
But anyway, I think you should wait
