My company pays for my phone voice plan, txt plan and data plan on my line.

We had blackberry's but they are way behind as fas as features and very boring and hard to read email on those stupidly small screens. They allow us to sync email on an iphone or Android, some still have crackberry's and there are a few windows phones but for us it is a 50/50 split for the most part between Android and iPhone. Soon we are going back to company supplied iPhone 5's or Samsung GS3's bc they put email security software and tracking software on those phones, so I once again will have to carry two phones every other week #

Many companies allow it now. Ours even started porting personal numbers in, supplying an iPhone and allowing you to take the line when you leave. A sister company of ours does the same thing.

Well if they pay for your bills then they are entitled to see your calling history along with your SMS history (only numbers are shown).

I guess I might be concerned if I had something to hide from them. It was voluntary to move it to their account anyways - so can't complain about it.

You may not be doing anything illegal but I wouldn't want my company to know who my friends and family are. You can determine people's names on the Internet for free by doing a reverse phone look up. Then they can search for Facebook or other social profiles of your friends and family members. Just be careful.

Just left my work supplied Windows Phone 7 (last 15 months, before that it was always Blackberrys) to get on my own plan with an iPhone 5. I was really sick of having no apps, but even worse was the T-Mobile or AT&T service in the NY area. For me, constantly having dropped calls and hardly a useable signal in my house was the breaking point.

If they would have put me on Verizon I probably would have stayed. Luckily my wife is already on so putting myself on a family share plan is not that much out of pocket considering I know get tethering as well. Still going to cost me about $70 a month out of pocket but to me the lack of frustration is worth the expense.
