I went with a silver phone because I am tired of not being able to find my black phone because it blends in with car seats and furniture.

I usually go for the colors with a white front, however since they didn’t have it this time, I ended up getting the space grey. It just doesn’t look good with black/white essentially. I prefer the white bezels because it’s less harsh on the eyes when reading, which is pretty much the main thing I use my phone screen for.

One of the hallmarks of OLED displays is absolutely perfect deep blacks. Because of this, the black bezel is a must. When displaying something on a black background, the screen will perfectly blend with the bezel. I’ve got some photo watch faces on my Apple Warch that demonstrate this well, and they are striking.

I know white bezels are not liked by many, but I never had an issue with them. My last iPhone had white bezels on the 7+, and I barely paid attention to it, unless I was reminded on Macrumors about it.
Ever notice that when a movie star pulls his phone out of his pocket on a talk show, they never have a case.

I went for SG, the Silver is very nice but the darker metal band on the SG model is beautiful.
I'm in love with the design, it's a mix of the 3G and the 4, which are the best looking iPhones IMO.

Why is that a bad thing? Yes it has a camera and everybody knows so it’s not like it’s some hidden thing you know. Lol plus it gives it character, like Cindy Crawford’s mole! She’s hot! Haha
This is the first white/silver iPhone I will have. I did it for a few reasons. 1. I've never had this color before and I think, from the photos/videos I've seen looks awesome and the stainless steel band reminds me of the original iPhone and 2. The entire front of the phone shows no white at all - that would have been a deal breaker for me.
The camera bump doesn't affect me and it never has. Similar to the white bezels, it's a non-issue for me. Perhaps to you it does.
i love the white backed phones but always hated the white front as it stood out too much when watching movies, etc. I kept going with black for this reason alone. Was excited to finally see they went with black bezel!

I'd never buy a white bezel phone again. I absolutely love the color of the back on the "silver" though.
No white bezel for me. I just do not like the way it looks. The silver is perfect, and like other have said, quite nostalgic to the OG phones!
