"Fred" went "Woah" when I gave him my case number...maybe because it is five miles long...He's being kind enough to get me to a product specialist (on hold while those two try and figure out the cluster-eff that is my case).

This is nuts man. I would even try emailing the STEVE@mac.com address AGAIN. It got you some action last week, maybe by bitching to it directly you can have someone ping your 'specialist'.

Can I recommend opening another window on the Mac and playing a nice, soothing game of solitaire? Should be able to get several hands in between Uh Huh's
