iLife and iWork Updates?

When are they being released? MacRumors article says they are available today, but they aren't showing up for me.

Same here... I've been scouring the internet for them... It looked like Pages was slightly redesigned, and I'm looking forward to collaboration!

Any of you buy it as the ilife pack from the apple store on a disc as i did and i think thats why I'm not getting upgrade? Bit crap really

No I bought Pages & Numbers from the app store. They should get released within the next few hours, hopefully less.

I'm afraid of that as well. I don't even have my discs with me, as I am living overseas right now and they are in a box at my parents' house. I'm really hoping they allow us to update them...

The update servers get bogged down on days like today. No one has seen updates to iLife or iWork applications yet. Things should clear up within a couple of days and we'll know if those who bought boxed iLife/iWork are getting the free updates or not.

The online page (apple.com/ilife) says this:

* Pages, Numbers, and Keynote are free on the Mac App Store for qualifying Mac computers purchased on or after October 1, 2013. OS X Mavericks required. Downloading apps requires an Apple ID.

I think that's how it works sadly. I did the same for iLife, have it on disc, and I think I'll have to pay for it too.

Thanks. Got it through iWork CD years ago, so that explains my need to pay. Still waiting on free iPhoto and Garageband updates though.

Interestingly, iWork requires 10.9. Nice way to force people off older OSs.

I had just clean installed and downloaded iwork, and then 10 mins later the updated versions appeared lol. For me they showed right up in my updates tab, downloading them now.
