Hey all,

Received both of my iLoome iPhone 6 screen protectors. One black and one white. Sadly my 64gb Space Gray 6 isn't here yet, but my g/f has had her Gold 16gb 6 for a bit. Her's is sitting in a Spigen two piece Safe Slide case.

iLoome did a nice job with the packaging and reminds me of some of the aftermarket car accessory boxes. Comes with a card/squeegee, cleaning cloth, directions, and the protector itself. Also comes with stick on home button protectors, but she uses TouchID, so that is useless, but a nice gesture. Just put it on so no real world use, but with the protector on, the Spigen Safe Slide case fits just fine.

Not sure how I feel about the colored borders now that I have seen them in person, but I don't think it's too distracting.

On to the pics.

Thanks for the pic, glad I did not order! Those edges look terrible!

They honestly look worse in the pics than in person. Not near as noticeable in person. But I'm still a bit mixed on whether they will annoy me or not. Sorta ruins the clean front of the phone.

Was it difficult to get the case on with the added thickness of the screen protector? Can we see an image of the front with the case? Thanks!

Thanks for the photos.

I ordered a black one and I'm not sure I will keep it because it might get in the way of cases. I also ordered an Obliq glass screen protector and it doesn't even cover the wideness of the screen. From what I've seen neither does Spigen's. Are there ANY glass screen protectors that cover the entire screen and don't have that big gap where the speaker is?

I will get some better pics of the front with the case on, and just some better pics overall. These were taken with my 5.

I appreciate the photos, I preordered and haven't even gotten a tracking number yet.

Not impressed if I'm honest, so far I prefer the non-edge to edge ones rather than that horrible rim of colour, I'm sure the black looks better though.

Thanks for the photos. Cancelled my preorders.

Current Spigen glas.t does cover the exact width of the lcd area but it has a 1m border around the outside that won't stick and IMO devalues the look of the device, the iloome border would drive me nuts. Also 0.4 is too thick (same as Spigen).

Back ordered a MIME feather+.

Fingers crossed someone gets it right.

I will venture to say no there isn't.

Thanks for the pics. I also cancel my preorder, too thick and not feeling the edge coloring. Still in search for a good edge-edge protector. In the meantime, I ordered the thinnest glass protector I could find on Amazon.

I think the black will be less noticeable.

Is the white border raised above the surface of the glass?

I don't think it is that bad.

We are never going to find a perfect cover for this curved screen. We may just have to come to grips with that.

Either live with too small, not so great complete coverage, or go naked!

Or you can live with a skin...

The white borders are pretty noticeable imho, too much going on and makes the front screen look busy. Will pass as I own a white 6. Black on black would look nice though.

It looks like I get my black iloome screen cover this morning. I will post pictures on how that looks this afternoon.

Thanks for the info. The borders are terrible. Cancelling my preorder. :(

Also this will never work with a case like the Apple leather case.

this just doesn't compliment the phone IMO.
Why the borders? Why are they sticking out like that?

If you guys like it, that's fine. But I would rather choose a regular glass screen thats cropped at the borders, than fake plastic borders

I think it's to hide any lifting you might notice with the curved edges.

I remember reading that most SP manufacturers opted not to make edge to edge because the curve would eventually cause the protector to come loose.

Coloring the borders would hide you from seeing that.
