Wow, he's actively looking around! That's pretty unusual for a newborn!
My guess is he's trying to poo.

Congratulations!

From my own experience, the first three months or so are really hard. Eventually you wont even know what day it is. But this will all pass and become a total wonder. Until of course when they hit about three and really start to test their boundaries.

You will now begin to understand what parents mean when they say you will never be the same.

Make sure your sense of humor is well honed and your seat belt is buckled.
Welcome to the true adulthood and enjoy the ride!

And that too will pass.... Both of mine started their terrible twos right on schedule, and the little one is coming out of them.

BTW what day is it? ;)

Congratulations, Chappers, on your new pink and sometimes red son. You are now the luckiest person on the planet. You and Mom must be so excited!

3.515kg is more like 7 lbs 12 oz - that's a nice size!

I'm glad we'll get to admire Bora whenever you post. Enjoy your new status as #1 Dad.

Congratulations! Your life is gonna be different, but I am very envious of that. This will be an interesting 25-30 years or so. Yeah, I said 25 to 30 years. Kids just don't want to leave nowadays. :p

That's what makes many C-Section kids look "different" than other newborns they lack "coneness."

I wish I was a c-section baby. It's hard for me to go to bowling alleys, you know. Ever have to dodge a 13 pounder rolled in your direction when all you wanted to do is get a drink?

Anna Bates (née Swan) (Canada) (1846–88), who measured 2.27 m (7 ft 5.5 in) tall, gave birth to a boy weighing 10.8 kg (23 lb 12 oz) and measuring 76 cm (30 in) long, at her home in Seville, Ohio, USA, on January 19, 1879, but the baby died 11 hours later.

and now he is at school. A good boy who takes care of others and is polite. As his birthday approaches I thought I'd update.

Bora - now.

Damn I've been here a long time!

Congratuations again! Good looking boy! :) It's funny, because I remember this thread, and when you look at the photo and how much your son has changed, it's amazing. I'm sure it's a bit different when you've seen him change gradually over time, but for a few of us, we only see the "before and after" photos and it doesn't seem long ago that he looked like a raisin. :p

I made myself laugh. :p

......to a lovely little boy. Born 15/3/06 (3/15/06) weight 3.515kg -7lb 10oz - I think.

He is pink (but sometimes red) - Doctor Q asked about colouration.

On the whole a very good boy but not when he gets wind - I seem to me the wind relieving God and so burp him on a regular basis.

My poor wife had a 2 minute emergency c-section under general anesthetic and is therefore very sore.

I learnt many things the morning my son came into this world - some I probably will never be able to describe.

What an amazing and yet terrifying experience.

His name is Bora which means "Hurricane" or "The wind that brings rain" depending which book you translate from.

Surprise surprise thats his photo on my 'tar. (My TAR changed too)

Congratulations, I hope This will give you some good advice ;)

Has it been 4 years already? I forgot I posted in this thread that long ago. Your son has grown into a good looking boy.
