Lets start this off by saying that I ALWAYS have a shower in the morning, if I'm in a house/hotel etc. Recently, I've become so bored at night that I have showers... I know, I know this isn't a bad thing but it is a little odd.

Previously, I had something to do - I was working, or my girlfriend would come round. Now, I've saved enough holidays from work etc that I'm off until mid-September when I go to Uni, and my girlfriend now works as a waitress.

There are only so many times you can check MR an hour and I frequent other boards as well, I even watch Digg...

So yeah, what do you think? Boredom = cleanliness?

Seems more of a healthy habit than anything. At least you're not doing....other...things to satisfy your boredom. ;)

Well, good for you. So long as you enjoy the showering and it doesn't get out of control, right on.

I'm filling my day by mopping things. We put in a new floor in our basement, and I've found it's very difficult to get up dirt encrusted dog drool.

Cleaning is the new therapy, etc ...

Normally when I'm bored at night I go to bed, though I guess it also depends on how late it is when boredom sets in.

I did that a lot over winter break from SDSU, I'd get home from work and have nothing to do (homework, reading, etc...) that I ended up cleaning my whole house in the matter of two weeks. Only to see it trashed once my roommates got back.

Have you survived the tidewave of work you had on your plate this summer?
Almost. Looks like a new wave is cresting and heading my way though!

Now if only I could find my surfboard... :p

Something I noticed today (I was at Uni checking out the halls) is that I can go to the toilet and still see my screen... Bluetooth keyboard = WIN!

If you don't already ... go to the gym or go for a run and atleast earn that extra shower.

If I took a shower every time I felt dirty, I'd have some pretty wrinkly skin. ;)

That being said, I generally shower once a day unless I exercise or otherwise get physically dirty during the day.

Why not go for a nice long walk or drive, or better yet, combine the two. Drive somewhere interesting to have a walk. :D Surely there must be something more useful to do than having a shower!? Whereabouts are you in Scotland? There's bound to be a nice forest or something not too far away.

If that doesn't work then I suggest Alcohol in some shape or form. It's quite good at making long evenings drift by... :p (Not a good idea really)
