The smaller Pro has LTE on all 3 models. The big Pro, will only have LTE on the 128 and 256 GB versions.

Can it run a FULL version of Adobe CC?

Nope and that doesn't matter for many users either. No one has ever said that the ipp can replace EVERYONE'S computer, but for the majority of users, it's more than capable. The vast majority of people use their personal computing device for email, social media, photos, videos, streaming services, and Internet browsing. Every one of those tasks except maybe email is better on an iPad than a computer.

Excellent! Im not as mad now. Still not sure if Im making the jump but now that I can get "in" for the same price as before its more tempting. The big issue for me with the Air 2 was the damned screen and chassis vibrations when using the speakers. If thats corrected.... Im probably in. :D

Everyone of those tasks can be done on a smartphone as well...guess my phone is a "pro" too...

So have smartphones. It replaced what they didn't need in the first place.

How is the iPad Pro any more a Mac replacement than an iPad Air?

That's correct, smartphones are all the "computer" that many people need. But I'm not able to have a word doc open on one part of my phone screen, and be searching the web, looking at my calendar, or sending an email on the other side. Sure all of that can be accomplished on my 6s plus, but if I'm working on more than one thing, switching back and forth is a pain. The ipp 12.9 is more of a traditional computer replacement Because it's size makes the experience so much better. Getting to have two apps side by side and actually have the room to work on them makes a big difference.

All iPads up to the Air 2 were simply blown up iPhones. With the introduction of split screen, the Air 2 became much more useful but it's display was still too small imo for multitasking.

The 12.9 ipp alleviated that issue for me.

Did I ever NEED a Mac for my workflow? Probably not. Many people do and that's what they are there for. My reason for having one was a larger display, I don't need that anymore. As iOS continues to implement new features, it really does replace the need for a Mac for many users like myself.

I am rather puzzled with the new 9.7 pro. We knew it was coming, and many people prefer that size. But when it comes to working on it, I don't know what benefits it has over an air 2 other than pencil support and Smart Keyboard. My productivity skyrocketed with the ipp primarily because of its large display. You don't get that with the 9.7 version.

But I guess at the end of the day, options are a good thing.
