I was just telling my friend that last night. I noticed the same thing. I guess they are holding out hope as well, or working on something behind the scenes already..... or it could mean nothing.

If you recall, the quote was from a review from an outside source. Maybe that source no longer believes it's better than iPhone? So they removed it to avoid a backlash. Remember, this was before the updates to os 4.

Whereas tmobile uses a different 3g frequency requiring hardware updates, the cdma verizon iphone could immediately work with sprint, couldn't it?
