I’ve never liked bulky cases so I always stick with the Apple leather cases. They’re stylish with a lot of excess bulk like some other cases. The last time I went ceaseless was the with the 5s, until I dropped it while getting out of the carAnf The screen shattered. Never again. To each their own, I guess.
Seeing stories like this is why I've always had a case on my phones lol.

Better than nude - color matched aluminium bumper. Get the nude feeling without all the smudges on the steel. ?

I've never put a case or screen protector on any of my phones... the iPhone is so beautiful, every design element carefully thought about... oozing sexiness... Jony Ive has probably slept with all the ones he's designed if his "love-fest" videos describing them at keynotes is anything to go by. I just couldn't wrap it up in a straitjacket and hide it. I do carry it around in a little slip-pouch though.

I've owned mobile phones since this:

...and I've only ever dropped my phone once... and it was a Samsung so can we really say it mattered? 😉

For years I never used a case - from my 3GS to my XS and everything in between. Never used a screen protector either. Then when I got my XS Max, I added a case. Never took it off. I upgraded to my 13 Pro Max and got the Apple clear case. It was ok. It squeeks, is slippery and gets untold amounts of dust, lint, junk and whatever else under it.

Finally decided to just pull it off and go back to being nude. I LOVE IT! The phone feels better, looks better, easier to hold, not as bulky and it sticks better to my car magsafe charger! With the case it twisted easy. Now, it's pretty firm.

Yeah, not going back.
Ok… but remember that the cameras no longer have protection when your iPhone is set on a granite top, stainless table at a restaurant, or any other hard rough surface. They will get scared first.

I love the feel of a naked iPhone in my hands. There's something so sexy about it. Love sliding it from one hand to the other.

But, I only get to experience it when I remove the case to clean it. Otherwise - case all the way, on every phone, plus screen protector.

Would have lost so many phones to cracked screens otherwise. Not from me dropping it, mind you - wife, kids; they're dangerous.

I didn’t use cases from the original to 3GS but starting with the 4 when it became a glass sandwich I would always get a case because I felt like I should. But I would always end up taking it off cuz I hate cases. And that is true to this day.

I have probably tried 10 cases for my 13 mini and they have all lasted a few days before I take them off and go back to caseless. I do have AC+ though.

I would love to run caseless, I never drop my phone. The only reason I have an apple leather case is because I like to place my phone screen up and without a case the cameras would be at risk of scratching against hard surfaces. Otherwise no problem.

I’ve always used cases. Even on my 13pm. Just recently removed it. My biggest issue is when I get out of my car. I always place my device on my lap. So I have to make sure before I get out that my iPhone is in my hand or in my pocket. One week naked and doing okay.

I’d gladly go case-less if Apple made MagSafe actually usable without a MagSafe case on. As it stands the magnetic connection is far too weak for me to attach it to a MagSafe car mount so I’m forced to put a case on.

I have a MagSafe mount from ESR and have had 0 issues with the strength of the connection. Didn’t have issues with my 12 pro max either. And I’ve gone over some bumpy terrain with it mounted.

I use a rhinoshield bumper case and get the best of both worlds. Make the phone a bit wider but doesn’t bother me, and protects the edges from dings and dents when I inevitably drop it. Plenty of dings and dents on the corners of my 8 plus and older phones, which is like to avoid.
