- do you live near a power transformer sub-station ( reduces the high voltage low amp energy to low voltage high amp ) ??

- do you have any military bomb test sites around your town??

- have you checked your house for faulty electrical layout??

Most cases where a user gets a faulty product is neither the users nor the suppliers fault actually. Its usually small electromagnetic particles in the air near your living environment colliding (by a catalystic initial energy i.e. that spark you sometimes get when you plug in/out a plug.) and making small emps that short circuit equipment.

These cause more of a ruckus than most people realize.

PS: just think what the hadron collider can do if it has a leak :p lol 2038 problem!

You don't have tin foil on your head do you? :D

Yeah, it's not like a lot of people actually follow the forum rules. I've been amazed just how rude some people can be hiding behind their computer screens (not to say I haven't been rude somewhat myself at times, but I try not to be). Anyway, I think it's MMSitis that's got some people on edge lately. :)

Tallest Skill killed my hypocrisy comment, or shall I say "stole it," like always. But, if you watched Forum Spy, your aggravation level would increase. Whether this thread is the right one to flip out about is another question.

People definitely like to follow the forum rules and it's a nice rule to have. It shows professionalism and respect. Without some standards all the other ones would fall by the waist-side: things like grammar and spelling which are key to keeping it understandable, which is in turn key to getting responses to question. The fact that the OP flipped out for what would seem like a logical question is another story.

With all of that being said, the iPhone forums have attracted a lot of new members who not only don't abide by the rules more, but in general seem a lot less mature. Also the fact that many of these users type from their iPhone's only makes things worse. Why that is I don't understand because there are plenty of members that seem capable of using their iPhone and making logical responses in ways that are understandable.

Was it way-side you meant?
