All I can tell is that something is amiss because your computer should be able to play HD be it flash or whatever.

I assume you're using whatever graphics cards is included with the machine, and not an Intel on-board GPU.

I just installed flash and the speedtest says

That's an okay speed (1.3MB/s down, 175KB/s up), does the issue still occur?

Have a look at Activity Monitor ( Applications / Utilities / *) and select All Processes*and sort by CPU to see what the culprit may be during playback and report back.

image below uses sorting by CPU as an example

I already did that it's nothing using the processing power. Even with the video playing in the background the processor only goes to 50% used with 2.6gb ram free

50% CPU usage indicates that one of your cores is saturated... so yes, you are CPU bottlenecked. Continue being "severly" disappointed in the nearly 5 year old architecture Apple continues to market.

Well now... i am back...
I just received my macbook pro (one in sig) back from apple care and it is stuttering too.. It wasn't before i gave it to them. I have done a complete reinstall. Uninstalled flash and reinstalled it. Nothing helps. It can be 480 or 1080 p it still stutters... youtube or hulu. While playing the video cpu is at 50%. On descrete graphics. It didn't do this before i sent it to them... all they replaced was the screen. Suggestions?

I didn't edit because it wouldn't put the post up to the top :p

Suggestion: Return it to apple care, and tell them your problem. Easy as that.

Yeah, i was hoping to not be without a mac for a week again.

This isn't directed only at you, but the OP as well.

I've experienced this issue as well, and have a few suggestions:
1. if you're headed down to the apple store, instead of warrantying and shipping it off, just get one of those nerds to look at it.
2. try different browsers, safari sucks, use chrome or firefox (don't carry over any of the settings)
3. if netflix audio is out of sync, it's most likely your internet connection, turn off airport and connect an ethernet cable.

No lol. Fire fox is a horrible bloated piece of software now. Google chrome also stutters. Not netflix, but no the audio keeps playing while the movie skips and is in sync.

ok, regardless of your feelings for firefox, try a different browser.
Also how much free space do you have on your HDD?

191 gb. Chrome doesn't help :/
I have 6 gb of ram installed and only run safari while watching the videos... (2.5 gb used)
Speed test is 10 up 5 down.
A on ping test. Even these flash apps stutter while using them.
It used to work fine... :(
