Yep

I just bought a refurb MBP last week and I couldn't be happier. The whole experience has been flawless so far. My old Vaio laptop was a very solid machine but everything about the MBP (including Leopard) just seem so intuitive and logical. Everything easily migrated from my external backup drive. My wireless network and wireless printer took about a minute to set up. The machine design is gorgeous and everything has worked from the very beginning. Worth every penny so far.

I absolutely love my Penryn MBP. Great upgrade from my PowerBook G4!

So So Jealous

I wish I could write about how happy I a with mine, but alas, it has not arrived yet. They say by Wednesday. Oh that will hopefully be a great day!!!

I am pretty happy. Overall, an 8/10, maybe even 7.5/10

I've already crashed once (got it Friday afternoon) just from normal web browsing and iTunes use. Got it switching around album cover. Also, there's a weird buzzing, but I think that's my own headphones.

Otherwise, It's a very nice machine. $2000? worth though? It's really paying a premium.

I absolutely love my MBP. I love using it and everything about it. Mac OS X is so easy and fun to use. Just wish I knew all the tips and tricks to using it being that I'm so new to the OS and everything.

i switched over a year ago and bought a white macbook after playing with a friends... fell in love with the apple lifestyle and how everything just works and works so welll!!! Sold it 6 months later deciding to upgrade to a macbook pro, waited from sept 07 till now for the updated macbook pro and im very happy i waited.

i got the updated macbook pro 15 inch, 4gb of ram, and the whopping 512mb nvidia graphics card! this thing runs everything unbelievably smooth and snappy.. im in absolute love with it. I wanna get a 24 inch widescreen to accompany it<33

i don't understand why anybody would buy a PC laptop, even if u wanna run windows.. the macbook pro runs it better than any other PC (Peice of Crap).

I know what you mean man

Whenever I'm on a PC at school, I just wish it was a mac. The user interface of a mac is just so much better.

I'm trying to sell some stuff though to make money to buy my own macbook pro

Great setup and welcome to Mac! I'm in love with my new MacBook Pro too. It's truly beautiful, but also quiet, cool-running and fast. Couldn't be happier with it.

Just to add myself to the list... I'm very happy with my machine, a new penryn bottom-ender. Should keep me going for 5 years or so provided I don't break or lose it. About to load up with 4 GB RAM and Adobe CS3 - then it will be a mean machine.

Only downside is I wish I had a wireless printer, mouse, keyboard, backup drive etc... all those cables coming out the side are ugly! With my Mini they were hidden at the back, but now my MBP sleekness is a bit ruined. ;)

I am happy with my MBP. The only little thing is the i key, it's a little on the sticky side which is irritating when I type. :D

Loving my penryn mbp also (my first mac), osx is such a joy to use, and the mbp is so well made. Love your setup.

Only sigh is yahoo mail works great on mail in the ipod touch, but it's not compatible with imail in osx

You should consider getting a keyboard for your laptop... If you're going to be using it as a desktop replacement, it'll be much nicer... plus it'll save the wear and tear on your laptop...

Right now I am running X-Plane while looking at real-time weather and surfing this website on my Macbook Pro. I am very happy. :) I am due to land at KMCI in about fifteen minutes. Weather is pretty poor.

Is that v9 or v8? Which model MBP are you running it on, and how does it run?

I love mine too....

I just got my 17" MBP last week and I just love it. This is my first Mac notebook and I am loving every feature it has to offer. I know that leaving PC environment would be difficult but Parallel made the transition easy. I love my MAC.

Congrats on the MBP....

The :apple: experience is different....it will take some time to work out the many possibilities and possible options......
Looks like you're right into it with Time Capsule and the additional HD.
The creative possibilities have been expanded ....
