Same here.

Well, you know people will be thinking about that thread the next time they see a post of yours. It wasn't worth losing respect was it? I learned not to do this way back in elementary, every heard of the boy who yelled wolf?

I seem to have been a bit harsh up there, didn't mean to, but I mean it really isn't cool of you to do stuff like that.

Judging by his screen name/location and behaviour, I'm going to assume that he's just a kid - and we all know they do silly things from time to time.

And I can't believe I just spelled behavior with a 'u'. I've been spending too much time here.

I forgive, but I do not forget.

If something bad actually does happen to you, I hope you don't bother posting in here. I'll just bring that other thread up and call bull**** on anything you say, whether it's regarding your birthday in your Profile being wrong, your Mercedes, Apple position at Best Buy, blah blah blah.

I don't buy any of it, "Eric".

Woah... Lookout now :p

I just don't see the point of him posting anything personal on here again. He was always a bit sus (suspect), and now we know why --- he's a liar.

I guess losing the trust of (some) members here was always the price of lying, and getting caught in the process.

I do believe this is the strangest event to take place in all my years here at MacRumors. I'm with Abstract.........

Oh, there have been stranger... much stranger! I think I've seen it all now.

so Eric, anything else you'd like to confess?

I'm very impressed with the people in the other thread who was figuring it all out

Great call Abstract - I guess that renders all those stories he has posted in regards to his personal life lies: a new M-Class at 17, a faked job, age, a 40' luxury boat owned by his family.... Even if they aren't lies, that's what we will all now think (and I'm 98% sure they are lies).

If it were my forum, Eric Lewis would be ban. He can keep busy "collecting iMacs" and losing his iPhones elsewhere. If you read his posts, they aren't even ones which represent a mature teenager (my guess is that Eric is around 15, or younger).

But than again, what does it matter in this day and age?

I also doubted the story, especially given some of the events that the mods are aware of, but this thread really doesn't serve much purpose now except for others to bash the OP. Understandable perhaps, but ultimately counter-productive.

The OP has said his piece, many of you have said yours, some of you will remember his name. Let's put this behind us for now...

Thread closed.
