iMac 24" Spitting out Snow Leopard CD!

I had the same problem on my MBP. It would keep spitting out the disc. So I restarted it and right after it was finished booting up I opened up Disk Utility to see if the drive was reading the CD and put in the SL Disc. It opened up fine after that and installed with no problem.

So I have no idea what was wrong before. :confused:
 
I have always had the same problem with my iMac I need to put a new DVD in after a boot otherwise it kicks it out, although after upgrading to Snow Leopard that problem seems to have gone away, I wonder if it was a driver problem with certain model DVD drives?
