iMac almost certainly coming very soon

I just rang compu b, a premium apple re seller here in Ireland and asked about the 27" and they are all out and once I mentioned that I may wait for mountain lion to release he told me that maybe I should 😀

True but he just passed up a sale of a €2000 machine because he could of easily told me not to wait and to place an order for a 27" but he didn't , he just said maybe I should :/ then I asked abou education discount and that was it .

Definitely July. That was announced at WWDC.

A bit odd that there hasn't been any news about the GM going out (unless I missed it). I'd think that if ML is going to ship around July 25 the GM should appear soon.

Did he really pass up a sale? You mentioned that he was out of stock. Maybe he helped secure his chances of getting your business by encouraging you to wait for ML... rather than run to one of his competitors now.

Passing up sale is a bit surprising but I was chatting in the online Mac store the other day about what iMac I should get and he even told me based on my needs I wouldn't need a SSD - so that's $500 he might not get.

I tried to see if he knew anything about a new iMac. All he said was "no idea but I've been swamped with that question"
