iMac and Keyboard Stock Dwindling?

Not to burst anyones bubble, but the UK store is saying 24 hours delivery on all models of the iMac, even changing all the BTO's only pushes it to 7-10 days and that I thought was quite normal.

Although I'm sure there will be an update, there has to be...
 
yeah, i think it's happening on August 7th. i sure hope that the keyboard is really updated......it's been awhile
 
An updated keyboard would definitely be a nice touch. I'm really looking forward to seeing how they redesign the machine... 😎

the old macbook pros were showing 24 hours delivery right up untill the store was taken down and they were replaced with SR models.

Also
- Mac Warehouse out of stock on ALL imacs except the education model.
- amazon only have 2 left of the 24"
- pc world only advertising the 17" and 20 " and both are collect in store, which indicates very low stock

and bearing in mind on august 7th, the mac pro will have gone 1 whole year without an update (and no i dont call the addition of an 8 core an update, as nothing else was touched and no changes to pricing were made) and the imac just over 11 months

so in that sense yes there has to be
 
Just tried to phone the Amsterdam store, only to get put threw to Apple in Cork Ireland. Asked about 24in imac and was told that they had tons of them in stock no problems.
Please Please Please, let the new imacs be white, and not like the iphone.
 
Keyboard

Does Apple usually update the BT keyboard along with the wired one or would I have to wait longer for a BT version?

Of course Apple are going to have enough of their own computer, it's the resellers' stock that is dwindling.

If you select the wireless keyboard as an option for the iMac on the Apple store, it bumps shipping to 3-5 days. I know there's been speculation if the new keyboard will also be wireless...this could always be a sign!
 
*yawn* if we have to wait any longer for new iMacs or MacPros...i may just give up on visiting here...it's getting boring waiting for something other than iPhone

BTO usually adds 2-4 days on build time. Bumping 7-10 is fairly high. So there HAS to be updates on Tuesday. Its just not knowing what kind!!
 
can't wait till the 7th!!!
thats my birthday so whatever comes out I'll probably end up getting it as a gift except an iMac(I'm getting a MacPro later this year), ESPECIALLY if its a touch screen ipod I'll definately be getting one

I really hope they don't update the nanos just yet, maybe change up the colors, I heard about that happening, but I really want to get one of those Red Nanos, but I need a mass storage ipod before I get something for novelty, they look so cool, I love the nano the way it is. but if they do there should be a price drop on left over nanos and I'll get it discounted

better be something good!!!!!!

Again, keep in mind that this has been identified as a Mac-related event, so the iPod probably would not fall into this category. I think we will be seeing hardware updates and possibly a firm release date for Leopard. News regarding iLife 08 & iWork 08 would be great as well.
 
iMacs have 3-5 day ship at Apple Store

The stock iMac 20" says ships in 24 hours.

Do anything to change the configuration, including adding a USB modem, and it says 3-5 business days to ship. Sure sign of new iMacs Aug 7!!! 😎 :apple:
