LOL, Apple is not going to release a 23" iMac G5 unless the 23" ACD is the low end model without HD support. Look at the past this is quite clear. So NO 23" iMac G5.
Also NO 2.3GHz iMac G5 model, since that will be rev C. 😉 🙂 <-- extending the life of each chip generation is what Apple loves. 🙂
I am interested in the GPU, I could care less if all the specs are the same with only a better GPU and maybe a slight price drop since they have been selling these models like hot cakes when it was introduced. 😉 🙂
Seriously though you will see these upgraded:
1. Processor from 130nm to 90nm (much more silent).
2. HDD at the top end 250Gigs.
3. Faster Optical Drive "±" and 8x.
4. Better GPU...hoping.
5. BlueTooth 2.0, also a given.
This is one of Apples best selling lines as of recent and they want it to remain competitive and making a profit while at it.
Someone mentioned that the SATA HDD was slow, that is because it is mounted in a vertical fashion. More cache would be better to account for the vertical mount. 🙂
