It's good to know "real" orders are matching the store ship estimate. Apple is either out of a part, or updates are imminent.vieoray said:i ordered an iMac on monday, 2/14...estimated shipping was thursday, 2/17. that has now been pushed back until thursday, 2/24.

Hmm, that might change things a bit, but of course, all we can do is "guess" at this point. 🙂 By the middle of next week, we'll know a lot more.Xenious said:Mine was BTO:

Well isn't that a statement that doesn't beg for more information. If you're not going to tell anyone, don't say it. 😉 If you are, tell. 😛ncoffey said:I'm willing to bet a fair chunk of change that this new iMac comes with the same power supply all over the world (100-240V). I have a very good reason to believe this although I probably shouldn't say why.
Wise choice. Apple is using near pathetic video in every product and is the only thing propping up those powermac sales. If they had decent meaning medium or better grade GPUs in iMac and Mini there wouldnt be a reason for most consumers to even look at powermac. Its not consumers who want a big all tower when its not needed. all i can say is voice your opinion about their crappy graphics.Tell Apple and make sure they hear you.Trout74 said:I called Apple today and playedLike I wanted to order an iMac. When were were all done and he said it iwll ship in 5-7 days, ( I got he 160GB HDD and more RAM) I said why? Just three days ago i built this online and it said same day shipping?
He said, well the demand is really high right now and it comes from over seas.
so I said no thanks and we said our goodbyes. IM sure that is their "pat" response, but just letting you know what he said.
does make some sense............to me.
anyways, I am going to wait for a revision whether it is now or in two months. I just cant buy one with the current graphics card, evrything else can be upgraded, RAM, HD and bluetooth, etc. and the G5 chip is fine with me too, it is a consumer product, and 90% of all people that buy an iMac will never use 90% of its power. Its just the darn graphics card!!!!!
