Agreed with the lamp design, just gorgeous. Even to the extent that when they brought out the 20" one, the base had to be made heavier so as to support the weight of the display - pretty amusing, but well worth it IMO :).

I think the "lamp design" would be perfect for a Touch Screen Mac (maybe named the "iMac Touch" or "Mac Touch")... with the arm being mobile and strong enough to move the screen down to a horizontal (slighty inclined) level where one could type on it or touch it in a more ergonomically friendly way. And if you don't want to use it with touch function, you'd just keep screen in vertical way and use mouse and keyboard...

Just a thought ;)
 
How is a touch-screen Mac supposed to work? Wouldn't the screen get all dirty with fingerprints and other smudges?

(I can't believe it. Three weeks ago, I was a Windows and ThinkPad guy...how did this happen? ;) :apple:)
