I am still new to Macs and have been getting kernel errors everyday since 9/27. Sometimes 2-3 a day. I come back to my mac and it's giving me a kernel panic dialogue. I have no clue what's going on .

Kernel panics are most often hardware problems. Most likely candidates are hard drive and RAM. If you made any recent changes to your Mac then try to undo the changes (for example if you add RAM, remove it). If there's nothing that you have done recently, take it to your nearest Apple store.

I deleted it. Do you think that was the cause?

Nope nothing new as far as hardware and I don't have a local Apple store ...
