I have a 2017 vintage iMac . It would be wonderful if Apple would produce a lighted wireless keyboard. I did have a Logitech MX and the thing about that was that the bluetooth would log off so to speak and then I would get a message that there was no keyboard, so I would have to go about getting it connected again, to the point of putting it back in the box and stuffing in my closet. IF that wasn't a problem, I wouldn't be posting here. But I do use the key pad and at times, I do key at night with the lights off , so as not to wake the dog or the wife.

Oh with my present Apple board, the A,S,E and I letters have worn off and I have pasted some letters I got for that purpose.

Apple would do well with that option, a backlighted wireless keyboard.

Look for Satechi and thank me later.
No thanks... I've had too many issues with Satechi products. Besides, Apple will never allow a third party keyboard access to the secure enclave in the M1 (or later) chips, so TouchID will never work with any third party keyboard.
