To truly earn the "Pro" moniker, the imac will be powered solely by that A10 chip.
Siri? Useless on iPhone, so why would I use it on a 'pro' machine?
A separate processor that has access to your microphone even when your computer is off isn't creepy in the slightest.
add in facial recognition to unlock the computer. Just sit down, move the mouse and if you are facing the screen, your computer is unlocked.
Now even this last Siri function was sucsessfuly replaced by Alexa for me.That's cool. Unfortunately I've relegated Siri to little more than setting a timer countdown when I make my coffee in the morning. It's the only Siri request that doesn't make me want to shove my iPhone in the garbage disposal out of frustration.
And so it begins.
heh, i used to use Siri only for timers but it's getting better..i've been giving it another go and surprisingly, Siri is getting a lot better than i remember..That's cool. Unfortunately I've relegated Siri to little more than setting a timer countdown when I make my coffee in the morning. It's the only Siri request that doesn't make me want to shove my iPhone in the garbage disposal out of frustration.
I wish you could completely uninstall Siri from osx and iOS. And I don't mean just disable it. It's the most useless voice assistant in my opinion and it irks me that it takes up space.
Apples Siri-centered home anno 2018.
Hey Siri!
"Yeah?" said the iPhone
"Wazzup?" said the Apple Watch
"What?" said the HomePod
"Can I help you?" said the iPad
"What do you need me to do?" said the iMac
"Yo!" said the Apple TV
All at once, of course![]()
It’s the operating system that runs on the arm. On the mbp it handles the touch bar and bridges the camera (for security). On the iMac pro it will have more duties, like providing voiceover for efi functions, controlling the x86 bootup and power states, etc.)So what is BridgeOS exactly? I don't remember reading about this before.
And so it begins.
For what?Native iOS apps![]()
