iMac with Lion pre-installed

I received my 21.5" iMac today. I ordered it yesterday, just the standard model.

It came with SL and the install discs.

If I update it to Lion soon, will the fact I've got the older version of the keyboard make a difference?

Sorry if that's a silly question, this is my first iMac after being a Windows user for many years.

I ordered a new 27" / SSD / iMac on July 29th and got it this Tuesday August 2end and it was shipped with the new Lion artwork on the box and Lion pre-installed with the new Lion keyboard. Even better, the machine was bulit in California and not China. I guess custom machines are being built in Union City, Ca

Did you get one with a faultySeagate HDD?
 
Mine came with it, was BTO and was ordered before Lion came out through a reseller so it actually took 3 weeks for me to get it but I'm not complaining.

Hi Longboarder - wow!!! Question, how did you know where your machine was assembled? That's really great though, and I'd be thrilled to have a machine built here vs. China. Two things that I'm always willing to pay a premium for are quality (which I believe I get from Apple), and quality made in America.

The sticker on the iMac box tells you where it was assembled. My BTO was also assembled in California. The parts are made in China and I guess the BTOs are assembled here.
 
any idea on the availability of iMac w/ preinstalled Lion in Singapore? had asked the Apple Store and they have no idea... really want to buy one...! :(
 
Got mine last week at an Apple Retail Store, it came with SL
i claimed Lion free update via the website yesterday and still no code in my mails :(...how long does it take?
