I heard that some were being built in Ireland. Wondering where mine will come from? Probably China. I'd like a US one though :)

This is just a theory, but when I spoke to Apple and asked them why did they go back to making the iMacs in the US?, (because mine was), customer relations explained to me that Apple is trying to eliminate the shipping distance since it's a very heavy product and subject to damage. It's very possible that if you live outside the US (such as you do), you may not get a USA made model, but rather one made from a country closer to where you live like the poster who bought his iMac in the Ukraine but it was made in Ireland.
