Images in messages not showing in history?

Hello, I just recently upgraded from iphone 7 to iphone 12. I had a backup of the iphone 7 onto icloud. It shows about 30gb in messages.

The issue is when I check my media history with a contact by tapping info, I see blank for photos, and blank for links. When I scroll up I can see the images. Is there a fix to this? Any idea how to trouble shoot?

How long have you had the 12 for, I’d think it’s still restoring maybe if not try restarting the phone
