Images of New Smart Battery Cases for iPhone 11 and 11 Pro Found in iOS 13.2

PLEASE APPLE, I Really want one of these!

I really hope that they will be Charcoal Gray just like the original one for the iPhone 6s. That's what the picture looks like at least. The black ones from the past few years are pretty ugly.

I've never killed my 11 Pro's battery in a day. I just want one of these cases for the added bulk + grip to help with holding the phone.

Not too shabby... but as someone who daydreamed in the 90s of dropping a Toyota engine into a decent '53 Ford body found in a half-collapsed barn in Ohio...

I'm gonna wait on the real deal for the new batt packs. :)

You just put it on and it charges until it dies, like an external battery pack.

What would be better is an option to leave the case on without charging and then only charge if needed.

I'd use my 24-7 with that feature.

It’s smart in that it will show you the better level in Notification Center and prioritize using the battery case instead of the internal battery so the phone is always topped up. It also prioritizes charging the phone before the case when charging from a wire. Personally I prefer it this way over manually toggling it on/off, which I’ve done before with non Apple battery cases.

While form follows function, for the love of everything Apple once was, please fix the aesthetics of these cases!

Yeah, I don’t like the fact that it’s always on. If only we could set thresholds (charge when phone battery at 30%, stop charging at 70%).

Same goes for the Airpods and Powerbeats Pro charging cases. I don’t think an on/off switch would be too much to ask…

Thresholds would be great too. That would make them much "smarter."

See, I'd prefer to just turn it on when my phone battery is down/low.

The thought of a battery case for the 11 Pro Max blows my mind.

The battery life is so good on this phone that I can imagine the use case for a battery case to be fairly narrow.

Do you guys just not use your $1000+ phones at all or what? I have an 11 pro, and granted the battery life is way better than my X (which was horrible without the battery pack) I sold for it, I have yet to get through an entire day without it dying if I weren't charging it throughout the day. Not even once since launch. I just don't understand how so many people here rave about the battery life. I work in a place where I cannot access an outlet to charge it throughout the day, and after my shift my phone will be down to like 25 percent. My X would have been completely dead without the battery case, yet people here raved about the X's battery back then as well. And I don't even game/watch a lot of videos on it. All Iphones have sucked for battery life, and these cases have pretty much been a necessity for me.

That’s because you didn’t use the Max. Max is in the league of its own.

really? by the posts here the max lasts 3x as long as my pro. I highly doubt that. Seems to me that either most people here are really drinking the Apple Kool-Aid, or they just look at how pretty their expensive new phone is instead of actually using it as intended. if I actually watched just 1 movie or something extra, my phone would be dead before the end of my shift every single day

no. it's indoors and I get full bars and wi-fi. I text make a few calls and browse the net. People said I had a dud when I had the same complaints about the 6, 7 , etc but every one is basically the same, albeit the 11 pro is the best of the bunch.

Now when I forget to plug my phone in and let it go to standby when I sleep or something, yea the battery barely goes down at all. but actually USING the phone, battery life is not that good.

My stepdaughter has an X (she's 13) and she can kill that sucker 2-3 times in one day no problem.

Maybe you're a power user or maybe you could use some optimization in background refresh/location/brightness/etc. battery hog features.
 
Apple can obviously create L-shaped batteries... why can’t they do it for this case so it doesn’t look ridiculous? Could double as a way to make the iPhone sit flush when it’s on a table rather than wobble.

You should invest in a hobby knife and it may reduce all those jagged edges props for making it work 👍

Kool-Aid? I’ve used both and am speaking from experience. Max lasts easily a good 2-3 hours longer than regular Pro. Seems you haven’t even given Max a try before doubting our claims. Pro Max the new battery king is no myth.
