And whats so special about it?
They just used the iPhone 5 color as camouflage to hide the 5s from the public.

Found some pics of when I sold my iPhone 5 on eBay 😔

I still have mine.

The only bad thing I could say about it was the vulnerability of the chamfered edges to dings.

Otherwise, it's purposeful, but elegant and understated, like a good tool. Much like a nice camera.

No camera bunp, and none of the screen protector issues that came with the 6.

Still my favourite iPhone model/Design alongside the iPhone 4. Don't spend money on R+D, just make a bigger version!

The black iphone 5 was possibly the best looking iphone ever.
I just remember at the time wishing applle had gone with a bigger screen! At least 5 inch which was normal back then

iPhone 5 and 5S, best designed iPhones thus far, iPhone 12 is good in design but would have liked at least one line up either the SE or something that did not have the huge lenses (dont use em or need em), and a better color than the iPhone 12/mini solid black and the 12 Pro graphite. a iPhone 12 SE with the 5S shape and space grey would have been nice.

"Space Grey" the color apple makes that's what ever the grey turns out to be. Its amazing how inconsistent space grey is between products and models.

Indeed. It’s weird how they are all over the board in regards to their color consistency for something they call the same. I’m a big fan of the darker space grays. The light ones have almost sometimes looked almost like the silver version.

This is news worthy because...........?
Because we did look upon it and it became validated. And when we validated it with geek and nerd splendor it did rise up and actualize as a topic we deemed worthy to discuss.
Blessed be the rumors, however trivial and questionable, for we will pore forth to dissect them and discuss with willful abandon. Glory be unto the rumors and also with you. Ahem.

The date codes for the components in the launch day units already tell you it's not 6 months. It's closer to 6 weeks. Foxconn doesn't even begin seasonal hiring until the middle of the year.
Thanks for fixing.
