Imagine if no Verizon iPhone is announced tomorrow

I think would be pretty disappointing and funny at the same time because everyone and their mothers is hype about it.

The biggest disappointment of 2011.

Think the Verizon iPhone threads would end if is not announced ?

No, I don't think it would rate the biggest disappointment in 2011. Its only a phone. There are more important things in life to get worked up over. Having an iPhone on a different carrier is not one of those.

They will only get worse if it's not announced tomorrow. And if it's not announced, I need to finally pick up some Apple stock as it is going to plummet. And then raise back up after people come to their senses. ;)
 
If it's not announced tomorrow, the wall street journal will make another speculation, and the forum will be filled with more threads on the next release date. If it wasn't for all these verizon news how else would this site get the extra traffic? Either way it's a win for macrumors.
 
Agreed there would be a backlash from investors. Both stocks would plummet and angry investors would be asking why they, Apple and Verizon, never said it wasn't true.

Even Apple doesn't have enough power and influence to get away with letting it get to the boiling point.
 
The AAPL stockholder inside of me would be devastated.

The ******* inside me would love to see the fanboys cry. :D

For the average US citizen, the announcement yea or nay will have no impact on their every day life

Specialized internet Forums are not representative of mainstream thought on anything
 
It would be another of a long line of signs indicating the end of days in 2012. :rolleyes:

That would be hilarious :D

On the one hand I would love for this to happen so all the smug "verizon has the best network" fanboys will be dissapointed.

On the other hand this will hopefully free up some network on AT&T for those of us who are staying.... and will put an end to the whining threads from said verizon fanboys about the iphone coming to their superior network.

It would also be nice to see all those Android phones being dropped or sold lol... and Android fanboys will finally realize that the Android popularity is because the iphone was tied to one carrier in the US.

All I have do is turn on the news, see that a psychopath has gunned down almost a dozen innocent people, and listen to the spin-doctor politicians try and pin the responsibility on everyone BUT the trigger man.

I would think AAPL will drop down to around $330ish... as it's been extremely bullish lately due to this impending rumor. I hope it's true since I long AAPL... :D

I belive that there are more problems in this world then is verizon gets the iphone or not. Does anyone really care its nature whatever people have they always want better. id the iphone has a new feature some people would wish that it had a different one. Its about time for everyone to relize that you cant have everything in this world!!!!!

Turn on world news and learn about dozens of people killed in suicide bombings.

Perspective

My point is that there is always something more tragic going on in the world, but that doesn't mean people aren't allowed to care about anything else.
 
It would be a big disappointment for me because that would mean the iPhone VZW threads would continue to persist.
