iMAME Arcade Emulator Hits the App Store (For Now) [Update: Pulled]

I believe I'm on probation period and therefore don't have access to all torrents!

If you joined up click on the torrents section at the top. There should be a few hundred torrents (not just MAME) if you have the proper access.

To the others having problems with the ROM files. You must have the correct version of the ROM. If the versions mismatch you will get "missing required files" and messages like that. Get all the .37b5 ROMs from a torrent or look on the frequently mentioned UK site for it as "MAME4ALL". I don't want to mention the sitename again if it would cause trouble.

its only giving me access to 3 at the moment.. Hopefully get access to the hundred or so in the near future!

anyone figured out where to add sound samples .zip files ? My all time favourite game Astro Blaster runs fine, but there is no sound. It has its sound bits in a separate .zip file and I don't know where to upload it. Me needs hear blasts

unzip all the files (the two zips) to a folder, then select all the files and compress them to a new .zip

Anyone get CPS3 games to work?

CPS2 games don't work let alone 3

And for those n00bs to MAME: Many rom sets require files from other sets or versions.

Like TMNT needs the world pack AND the US 4plyr pack, NBA Jam TE v2 needs NBA Jam v2 files, NeoGeo Games need the neogeo bios pack. and on and on and on.

Wow no CPS2? That sucks. Didn't expect that. Most of my favorite fighting games are CPS2.

Hi, all of the available sound samples for the iMame4All ROM set are already included with the app. Make sure you are runnnig ROM set 2 for Astro Blaster and you should hear all the awesome sounds.

I found out how to remove the files. But anyways.

Roms I have:

1. Mario Bros
2. Outrun
3. NBA Jam
4. Donkey Kong
5. Michael Jackson's Moonwalker
6. Puckman (Pacman)

All of them work flawlessly. I'll probably add more soon.

Because this is an ARCADE emulator, not a Nintendo Console emulator.
