Worth a shot.
They were very strict before but they seem to be easier with iphone unlocks lately.
before they had 3 options for unlocks: current customer, past customer and non-customer with receipt that shows full price. So people used 3rd option with fake info and fake receipt and it always went thru because they never verified those receipts. All unlocks where done early in the morning next day. Just about month ago they removed that 3rd option and then few weeks ago $1 unlocks are gone. I'd say it was easy in the past and now it's strict
Actually, it does work with a pre-paid account I had an AT&T GoPhone account last year and unlocked 5 iPhones with it. If I remember correctly, the account needed to be active for at least 6 months. Here's the info I used, don't know if it's still accurate. The customer service, etc. is completely different than that for the contract customers, of course:
GoPhone: When requesting IMEI unlock or need to speak to a technician immediately:
1 866-695-2750 (night time support. Rings once) or 1 800-331-0500
Daytime support (long wait, many prompts. To get to technical support select option #5 "more options" then "0" for a technician):
1 800-901-9878
Make sure that your online account info is all up to date.
This really worked for me. Not many people know about this. Hope the numbers still work!

Rejection Reason: The AT&T method you've purchased (cheaper method) is too unstable -- refunding all orders, if you would still like to unlock your device, we can certainly do it now at chronicunlocks.com if you re-order, but the price to get this done is higher.

New Update: AT&T's changes are currently making it impossible to unlock iPhones. I've told my customers before and I'm saying it again, this might be the end of the 3rd party iPhone Unlocks for AT&T! - Going forward if your order is not completed within next 1-3days, Your odds are the lowest ever -- As low as they were back in 2009 and before!
Can anyone shed any light on what's going on? Is AT&T still processing unlocks?

It was $32 - it was the "slow" method at the time.....but I waited a week and was never able to get unlocked.
Anyone have anything that's working today??
Cellunlocker and Satnam are still working. Just got an email from one of my suppliers early this morning that his service is still working "amazing." All are 39 I believe. Satnam is 50 but I believe it's 1-3 hour servic.
Unlock fusion is back on, I have placed an order for 4x iPhone 5S.
I had them to unlock few of the iPhone 5 last year, for less than 5bucks.
Well... they finally has this service available since I got the 5S 2 weeks ago, so I have placed the order ASAP... since I have to travel in less than a month.
Most importantly, it makes it so easy to sell it(to Tmobile no contract user) next year so I can upgrade to iPhone 6, I believe... I can't save this 40bucks.
GL everyone, I hate at&t but they have the fastest LTE network for my area(NYC&Queen)...

Why not try to Unlock Fusion instead of asking for a UK site?

If you finished your contract, can't you just use AT&T's unlock form to get it unlocked?
On another note, I was refunded by unlockfusion 2 days ago and waiting on hackiphone.me (some people seem to have had success with them in the first few pages of this thread) to unlock my 5s now.
