S-url.ro sent me an email Saying it would take 24 hours to unlock my AT&T iPhone but it's been 36 hours and it's still locked. I wrote them 3 times and no body responded to any of the messages from the beginning. Even the AT&T unlock page on their website is no longer up. How did you get a response from them?. If they can't do it, I would like to get a refund so I can do it through hackiphone.

Edit: he just replied saying it should be done soon. Will let you know how it goes.

Ok bro, I really hope you either get your phone unlocked or your money back, in my case i got a refund, I liked so much Hackiphone service that im now reselling for them, just sent my first imei today to see how it goes...

Thanks ;)

As of now, still no unlock. If they don't unlock it by tomorrow, I'll ask for a refund.

Go to my local shop today and they do it $25 for 24hrs unlock. It was $15 before but they also have to raise the price since they said the wholesale raise the price. Will check it out tomorrow to make sure it work.

Spent almost 3 hours at Apple Store with several genius guys and nobody could find the issue. They did all types of reset they knew about it and came to the conclusion that although the phone was showing as unlocked in their system it was acting like a locked phone. I did not want to tell them I had it unlocked myself and not through ATT.

Might need a software reload... I'll try to remember and post the link for you tomorrow...

Looks like the service is back but swiftunlocks is $29.99 and appledatabase is $49.99. cellcorner is $33.90. Globalunlock is $19.

Competition will likely drive these prices down too. I mean, just this past weekend 30 was the norm and there were talks of prices going up. I'm kind of surpirsed there's already one for 19. Actually, one of the sellers I bought from earlier this week offered 18 dollars if I bought 100 of them. Didn't need quite that many atm

People who are not in need of unlock immediately can wait for prices to drop.

I for one do not need unlock right now. I will need it when I will sell it next year same time.

Yea I want to get my phone unlocked but I don't wanna pay damn near $30. Hopefully prices go down by dec before I go to Vietnam.

This sucks.
I hope the prices go back down.

Me too! Remember when it was $2.

try to disable find my iphone on your account if you had it on previously or at all. I think i read somewhere that could possible mess with it.

I think this is all a game to get more money cause of all these phones out there, obviously there is still a way to do it and all of sudden price goes up? come on does not add up

Exactly. There is WAY too much money out there to be made for them not to allow it. That, and Verizon and Tmobile ones now come factory unlocked. If all else is equal, that narrows down the decision for people quite a bit.

Oh and it seems swift unlocks is now down to 24.99.

Doesn't anyone remember that these unlocks used to go for $100+ ?

It took 6 months to get the price down to $20 from $100+. I'm sure most are trying to keep the prices high, but since there are some who don't care, the price will be lower in a few weeks.

As of this morning, the price on swiftunlocks is down to $24.99. I loved the $1.99 price, but I have to admit that considering the value you get the $1.99 price was a little low.

Looks like prices continue to be all over the place. Today Global unlock is $42, swift unlocks is 24.99, chronic is 31.99

AT&T prices

Expect the prices to keep jumping around as the suppliers get weened out.

I'm seeing a 1-3 Hour Service from a couple of suppliers.

I'm going to test each and I'll report back.

Had my ATT iPhone "unlocked" using swiftunlocks.com couple weeks ago but it only works with ATT sim card. Tried TMobile and it does not work at all. Interesting is that IMEI shows phone is unlocked. TMobile and Apple Store genius guy also confirmed the phone shows unlocked in their systems but it acts like it is still locked. Nobody can figure out why it only works with ATT sim cards. Very frustrating.

Try this solution, worked for me on a similar problem...

http://www.iphonehacks.com/2013/10/fix-activation-error-ios-7.html

"How to Fix Activation Problems with iOS7"
1. Download the appropriate, and very large file
2. Backup your iPhone
3. Hold Shift key, click on Restore iPhone
4. Select file you downloaded, and viola...
5. Restore your phone using your most recent backup

Wouldn't weening out suppliers increase the price? Or I guess if each supplier has more business, they could reduce it....ideally.

Yes. I prefer a higher price like it used to be. The sellers that need to get weened out are the ones that caused it to drop to .20 for 24 hour service.

you have to restore as NEW then you can load a backup on the fresh restore, don't do backup restore.

We as consumers don't want them weened out then :p

Isn't this like selling drugs anyways? You kill 1 and then 2 come and take his place anyways.

higher as in 100+? I don't think even AT&T would want that. Or apple for that matter.
