Currently out in Switzerland too. Then again... It stopped working on my 4S with iOS 6 but my girlfriend 4S iOS 6 is working perfectly. And yes, we have the same carrier.

Scott's revenge?

Down in Ohio...

I can vouch for that, along with in MD and NJ, because I was talking with my friends there about the storm thinking this iMessage issue was Sandy-related. Then TUAW tweeted about iMessage being down, so I'm glad it wasn't just me.

iMessage randomly tries to work, but it doesn't send.

EDIT: I'm getting iMessages to send and receive now, along with my friend in MD.

Apple's page (apple.com) itself is very slow right now. Maybe they are currently running on their backup servers.

I've checked the iTunes Music Store / App Store and FaceTime on a Mac; iBooks, iTunes, iMessage and FaceTime on iOS - they are all down.

FindMyFriends, Find My iPhone and the Apple Store app are working just fine.

Was apple.com as slow as today when iMessage was down last week?

Down in mexico too. Damm i thought i was the only one. But i see its a common problem

Well...there was a massive hurricane that did just hit North Carolina - where a giant server farm happens to reside. When the power goes out and all the solar panels blow away - not much left to run the place but biogas-fueled fuel cells.

Oh its down, ***** sake even i wonder :mad: I was about to jump off a building with my new iPod when i couldn't get iMessage working, i couldn't even get to Apple discussions board.

Can't believe it, bought a new iPod today and Apple is down, wasting my 2 hours of life.
