iMessage Down?

Well...there was a massive hurricane that did just hit North Carolina - where a giant server farm happens to reside. When the power goes out and all the solar panels blow away - not much left to run the place but biogas-fueled fuel cells.

That's what I was thinking too. I wouldn't be surprised if Sandy has something to do with the outage.

Well considering that server farm is hundreds of miles from where the hurricane came through North Carolina don't think that's it.
But having said all that, iMessage is working for me in North Carolina.

Its not working, however, with my friend in NJ. But that might be beyond Apple's control. Might have more to do with some bitch named Sandy, lol.

I'm in NJ, and iMessages aren't working on my iPhone or Mac or iPad. It sucks.

Issues in West Virginia. Tried turning it off and back on with no luck.

Still not working for me. Tried turning iMessage off, rebooting my iPhone, etc. It locks on "activation" both on my Mac and iPhone and after a while, it says that it can't activate.

The iCloud support page reports no problem, though.

Used an SIII or Note II, no problems found so far

Yeah, but I want to use the original device with the iMessage, not the Korean copy with regular SMS.
