I've got several mac Minis running 26.6.2. On all of them I enabled iMessage in the cloud only on my main systems (mac Mini 2024), and on my superfluous machines (a backup server, downloader, and media server) I had iMessage sync disabled. I have a few contacts that I have marked as "Hide Alerts" and it's worked perfectly.
Until 26.6.2. Even though iMessage was disabled on all my background servers, 26.6.2 is causing all of my "Hide Alert" people's messages to ding.
I know I have to use "Hide Alert" on every system I use on a regular basis, but until 26.6.2, I didn't have to do this on systems that didn't have iMessage enabled. But after 26.6.2, I've had to RDP into each server, start iMessage, and then individually mark "Hide Alerts" on those systems, too.
Defects are getting out of hand.
